Prayer for the 7th Sunday of Easter– the Sunday after Ascension
Heavenly Father, how we praise Your holy name for Your goodness and loving kindness to us. You have sent Your Son to redeem us by His blood and made us one with Himself. May we all shine forth His glory in our lives, to Your praise and glory.
AMEN.
Prayer for the sick
We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Peter, Mark and Debbie, Mike, Joan C, Emma, Arthur, Russell and Janette. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Brenda, Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel, John and Paul.
Rest in peace
We pray for those who have died recently, among them Ruth Hencher (see below), and for their families at this sad time.

Strawberries and Skittles
The Social Committee are asking you to "Keep this date free" Saturday 26 July from 2.30 for a Strawberries and Skittles in Paul and Sandra's garden, suitable for all the family.....More details to follow.
Drivers needed
We urgently need drivers for the Food, Friends and Fellowship lunch on the second Tuesday of each month. We particularly need them for the next one which is on June 10th. What is involved? You would pick someone up any time between 11.30 and 11.45, drive them to the Community Centre in Havenstreet for 12 noon and either stay for lunch or return around 2pm to take them home. You would be told who needed picking up and be given their address. If you can help, please get in touch with Jane Calderin on 07484 328640. Thank you.
Ruth Hencher
Ruth Hencher was a very longstanding and committed congregation member but has not been well enough to attend church for quite a few years. Details for the funeral are not yet available.
