St Peter’s Havenstreet

A Prayer for Holy Cross Day

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation. Thank You for mercy we could never earn. May our lives reflect the love revealed at Calvary. We lay down our plans before You. Teach us to follow Your will as Christ obeyed Yours. Shape our hearts through the power of the Cross.

Amen

Help required

Paul and Sandra would like a bit of help with cleaning the church on Monday mornings 9.00 to 10.30. After the work in the chancel there is some very fine dust around the woodwork and it needs a fine brush and some patience - lovely as the carvings are they do attract the dust. Nothing heavy; you can even sit down if necessary. Ring (01983) 638198 if can spare some time.
