Sing to the Lord! at St. John’s An informal morning with Revd David, to sing together some old favourites and less well-known hymns in preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Everyone is welcome! It’s not a choir rehearsal! Simply an informal time (roughly an hour) together to boost our confidence in sung worship ahead of Holy Week.

Concert at All Saints on behalf of St. Peter’s

A Prayer for Passion Sunday
Lord of life and resurrection, You called Lazarus from the tomb, and in Your voice was the promise that death will never have the final word. In our moments of grief, doubt, or delay, teach us to trust Your timing, to believe even when we cannot yet see, and to hope when all seems lost. As we journey toward the cross and the empty tomb, make us witnesses of Your power to bring life from death, and joy from sorrow.
Amen
Prayer for the sick
We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Mike, Joan C, Emma, Neil, Brenda, John, Gordon, Tim, Catherine and Elizabeth. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel and Paul.
Rest in peace
We remember those who have died recently and pray for their families at this sad time.
In Memoriam
We pray for all those who remember the anniversary of those who are recorded in our memorial book for this week Valerie Dwight, Ron White, Maud Bates, Dorothy May Hutton, Jeremy Robin Brooks, Frances Elizabeth May Neill, Ronald William and Kathleen Joan Horne
