Prayer for the Seventh Sunday after Trinity
Loving Lord, our life span is short, at any moment to be taken from us. Free us from greed, and fill us with generosity. Release us from insecurity and restore us to contentment with the treasures of your realm. Strip us of our fear and strengthen us to love one another as you have loved us.
Amen
Prayer for the sick*
We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Peter, Mark and Debbie, Mike, Joan C, Emma, Arthur, Gill, Russell and Janette. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Brenda, Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel, John and Paul.
Rest in peace
We pray for those who have died recently and for their families at this sad time.
