The Churches of

Holy Cross Binstead

and St Peter’s Havenstreet

in the Ryde Plurality

A Prayer for Trinity Sunday

Father, you sent your Word to bring us truth and your Spirit to make us holy. Through them

we come to know the mystery of your life. Help us to worship you, one God in three Persons, by proclaiming and living our faith in you. We ask you this, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, true and living.

Amen.

Prayer for the sick

We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Joan C, Emma, Neil,

Brenda, John, Tim, Catherine, Elizabeth, Millie and Paul B. We also remember silently in our

hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel and Paul.

Rest in peace

We remember those who have died recently and pray for their families at this sad time.

In Memoriam

We pray for all those who remember the anniversary of those who are recorded in our

memorial book for this week

Sydney John and Jane Violet Cutts, Fred Bates, Robert ‘Bob’ Henry Dyer, Monika Attrill,

Edward George Alan Smith, Doris Margaret Benton, Brian Toogood, Alan James Woodford

(1) All Saints Cafe: Love Mondays

We’re delighted to announce the soft opening of our new café space at All Saints Church,

Ryde, which started Monday 11th May 2026, ahead of our full launch in September.

Join us for Love Mondays, our weekly dedicated wellbeing day, running every Monday from

8:00–12:00. Enjoy complimentary filter coffee, tea, and baked cakes and treats, with barista made

coffee also available for a small donation.

This is a relaxed and welcoming space for all — a great opportunity to connect with others,

explore the newly renovated church, and find out more about church life, including Alpha,

upcoming events, and our Love Your Neighbour projects.

We’d love to see you there and welcome members of our local community each week.

— The All Saints Love Your Neighbour Team

(2) Sandra has organised a trip to Shanklin Theatre

Saturday 30th May at 19:30 to see The Scarlet Pimpernel the Musical. If you are going, don’t forget your ticket(s) and remember to pay Sandra for them!

Road closures in Binstead:

Church Road will be closed 25 May – 31 July

Pitts Lane will be closed 31 July – 9 October

(3) Joan L will be 100 on 10th June.

She has asked for the following to be included in the notices:

Joan is having a celebration party on June 10 which is her birthday. This will be held at

Ryde All Saints Church Hall because of the numbers attending.

All are very welcome to join her but she is insistent that there are to be NO presents and

only FAMILY flowers.

She is going to have a collecting bucket at the party and suggests a £1 donation from

each person which will go Abbeyfield to help towards the cost of the party.

Note: please inform Aubrey if you intend to go, as numbers are needed beforehand.
