A Prayer for the Fifth Sunday after Trinity

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which guides us through life and directs us in the way we should go. Help us harness our hearts and lives to Jesus each day, for His yoke is easy, His burden is light, and in Him there is rest for our souls. Thank You that we have not been left to bear our problems and the pains of life alone. Use us, we pray, to point others who are distressed and burdened to Jesus.

Amen

Thanks to all involved:

I hope you have all noticed the improvement in the church garden - benches and summer house.

The pews no longer have blobs of Christmas candle wax, and the brass has been polished.

Thanks has been expressed to the 12 pupils and two staff of Ryde School who spent 3 hours working very hard and from our congregation Carlton, Tracy, Max and Paul who spent all morning looking after them. Thanks to Vince for making sure everyone was safe. Sandra Ferguson.
