1 Ride and Stride Day Saturday 13 September

We shall be having visitors arriving at Holy Cross on foot, by bicycle and car from 10.00 am till 6.00 pm. Tina has offered to be in the church in the morning to welcome travellers and offer a drink if required. But I am sure she would welcome any parishioners who have some time to pop in and keep her company. Paul and Sandra will be spending the afternoon visiting other churches and their sponsor form is at the back of the church. It would be lovely if others who have a couple of hours could take a sponsor form home to get family and friends to sponsor them for a trip round one or two of our lovely island churches. Please talk to Sandra for more information

2 Holy Cross Day 14 September

There will be a special communion service for Holy Cross Day, followed by cake and fizz: donations of Prosecco for the occasion to Revd. Sandie Osborne.

3 Indian Encounter 26 September

Mike and Deb Coeshott will be presenting a talk on their trip earlier this year to India. This will be at Holy Cross on Friday 26 September at 7.30 pm. All welcome. Refreshments will be available.

4 Harvest Festival Lunch 5 October

This will be @ 12.30pm after the 10.30am Harvest Thanksgiving Service. Cost £7 to include a Ploughman’s Lunch, Dessert & Tea/Coffee and a free raffle ticket for an Autumn Hamper.

Restricted numbers, book now on the list at the back of the Church. Janette Dye

The funeral of Gill Chaloner will take place at 12 noon on Friday 26th September at Holy Trinity, Ventnor
