Prayer for the Third Sunday of Advent
Lord, we are called to share our faith. And to answer the question that is bound to be asked:
Is Jesus the one? Yes, we answer because we know Jesus is the one. The world’s Saviour,
the resurrection and the life. Help us to proclaim it loudly and joyfully
Amen.
Prayer for the sick
We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Mike, Joan C, Emma
and Len. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Brenda,
Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel, John and Paul.
Rest in peace
We remember those who have died recently and pray for their families at this sad time.
Greville Sockett.
In Memoriam
We pray for all those who remember the anniversary of those who are recorded in our
memorial book for this week
Eric Lloyd Williams, Frederick Thomas Aylett, Eileen Jean Berrangé, Albert John Dye.
