Prayer for All Saints Day
Holy and gracious God, On this All Saints’ Day, we gather in the quiet reverence of Your presence, remembering the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us. We give thanks for the saints known to the world and for those known only to us — family, friends, mentors, and neighbours — whose lives reflected Your light in countless ways.
Amen
Prayer for the Faithful Departed
Merciful Father, On this day of remembrance, we lift before You the souls of all who have gone before us. Grant them rest from their labours, peace from their sorrows,
and the light of Your eternal presence. May Your mercy wash away every stain,
and may they be welcomed into the joy of Your kingdom. Comfort those who mourn, and strengthen our hope in the resurrection, that one day we may be reunited in Your love.
Through Christ our Lord
Amen
