Prayer for 15th Sunday after Trinity
Lord, we often become consumed by our own comforts and desires, just as the rich man did. Forgive us for the times we have prioritized our own indulgences over the welfare of others. Help us to remember that true richness lies not in material wealth, but in our relationship with You and in our service to others. May we strive to be generous and kind, willing to share not only our resources but also our time and love with those in need.
Amen
Prayer for the sick
We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Mike, Joan C, Emma,
Arthur, and Gill. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave,
Brenda, Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel, John and Paul.
Rest in peace
We remember those who have died recently and pray for their families at this sad time.
Gill Chaloner, widow of the late Rev Stephen Chaloner, Priest in Charge of Binstead &
Havenstreet from 1988 until 1999.
In Memoriam
We pray for all those who remember the anniversary of those who are recorded in our
memorial book for this week
Edith May Fox, William Henry Fisher, Leonice Heptinstall, Vi and Hugh Brown, Eric Dixon,
