Prayer for the Fourth Sunday of Advent

Lord Jesus, prepare our hearts for Your coming. On this 4th Sunday of Advent, we surrender our wills, thoughts, and desires to You. Remove every distraction that keeps us from focusing on You. Help us to live in readiness—not just for Christmas, but for Your glorious return.

Amen.


Prayer for the sick

We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Mike, Joan C, Emma

and Len. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Brenda,

Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel, John and Paul.


Rest in peace

We remember those who have died recently and pray for their families at this sad time.

Prayer for Holy Innocents 1st Sunday of Christmas

Dear Lord, just as you sent an angel to Joseph in a dream, please guide and protect us in

our times of need. Help us to hear your voice and follow your direction, even when it may be

difficult or inconvenient. Give us the strength and courage to flee from danger and trust in

your plan for our lives. We pray for your protection over our families and loved ones, that

they may be kept safe from harm. Thank you for your constant love and care for us.

Church opening

Since October we have been looking for a volunteer to open and close

Holy Cross Church on a regular basis on Tuesdays. If you are able to offer to help, please let Mike Coeshott know at mikejcoe@aol.com
