Prayer for Advent Sunday
Loving God, as we light the first Advent candle of hope, we ask for your presence to fill our
hearts and homes. May the hope of Christ's coming bring light to our darkness and renew
our spirits.
Amen.
Prayer for the sick
We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers: Patrick, Mike, Joan C and
Emma. We also remember silently in our hearts: Heather, Jackie, Ann, Dave, Brenda,
Monica, Hester, Kerry, Izabel, John and Paul.
Rest in peace
We remember those who have died recently and pray for their families at this sad time.
Margaret Goodman, Brian Ballard, David Malcolm Whitworth

We pray for all those who remember the anniversary of those who are recorded in our
memorial book for this week

The social committee would appreciate any help on Saturday to welcome visitors; we are also hoping all the congregation will pop in some time during the day to see the displays, have a hot drink and a mince pie etc and look at the Christmas stalls, win a Christmas Hamper and learn about St Nicholas.
